My first day with the Arc Totem league starter has gone extremely well so far. I started with the Grenade leveling setup I recommended in my previous guide, and honestly, it completely destroyed the campaign.
I finished the campaign, side quests, both Ascendancies, and the Act 4 Grand Expedition in roughly 7 hours. I barely felt challenged, and once I started mapping, I pushed straight into Tier 11 maps without much trouble.
Grenades Were a Great Leveling Choice
Cluster Grenades at level 14 made clearing incredibly fast. One throw could wipe out most of the screen, while Mirage Archer gave me some extra help against bosses.
Because of how smoothly this went, I’m even more confident recommending Grenades for leveling into Arc Totems.
My Arc Totem Transition
I’m now around level 75 with my third Ascendancy completed, so I’m ready to respec into Arc Totems.
For the starter setup, I’m looking for:
- A +3 wand
- Around 225 Spirit
- A +2 spell-level amulet
- Capped resistances
- Good Energy Shield and Mana
- Cast Speed on rings where possible
So far, I’ve only spent about 10 Exalts on the transition. I picked up a +4 wand and gathered defensive gear while mapping rather than spending heavily on perfect items.
The expensive part is finding a good Spirit-heavy scepter and spell-level amulet, so I’m going to start with cheaper alternatives where necessary.
What’s Next?
I’ve reached T11 maps, completed my third Ascendancy, and I’m now walking toward the Pinnacle boss. The next step is the full Arc Totem respec.
I’ll be testing everything on a relatively small budget and reporting honestly on how it performs. If it destroys maps, I’ll say so. If something feels bad, I’ll change the guide.
For now, the Grenade leveling setup has worked exactly as planned, and Arc Totems are ready for their real test.
